Rules & FAQs

Welcome to the Watercooler Wednesday challenges.  To ensure the challenges run smoothly, we have put together a list of rules to follow.

1) Please ensure that the link to your challenge project is a direct link to that post, not to your general blog. If we can not see your challenge project, it will not qualify and your link will be deleted.

2) No back-linking. All projects submitted to the challenge must be posted after the start of the challenge.

3) No word verification or similar comment restrictions, please. If you are part of a group that requires us to sign in, such as Splitcoast Stampers, Flickr, etc. then, we will be unable to leave a comment. While your project will still be eligible for inclusion in our challenge, we will not be able to make comments if you are using such restrictive comment access.

4) Your post featuring your challenge project MUST have a link back to the Watercooler Wednesday Blog or it is ineligible to win. A link back to our challenge would be copying the url and pasting it to your own blog or from wherever you are posting your project. This will allow people to "click" on it and follow it to our challenge.

5)  Please link to no more than 8 challenges, ours and up to 7 others.  Entries linked to more than 8 challenges, including ours, will make you ineligible for a chance to be the winner.

6) Have Fun!

  1. I do not have a blog. I am a stampin up demonstrator but only as hobbyist. How do I share my entry? I usually share my cards on Facebook and Pinterest. How do I link them to this challenge?

  2. was wondering why you have a limit to the number of challenges one can combine with?

    1. Hi Dawn, this is a very late reply as I wasn't aware people were leaving comments in this area. If you check out other challenges, you will see that most have limits to the number of challenges one can link to.

  3. I paper craft but I don't tend to make cards. I sometimes make tags but normally I make altered art using scrapbook paper and my own mixed media. Is that allowable in these challenges?

    1. Hi there. We have people linking up cards, tags, journal pages, and some other paper art. We'd love to see your creations.

In line with new Data Protection legislation (GDPR) by commenting you do so in the knowledge that your name & comment are visible to all who visit this blog and thereby consent to the use of that personal information for that specific purpose. Anyway, we love to read comments and hope sharing that information doesn't scare you off.
